Interesting with equally interesting implications.

When your stomach’s growling, no sound may be sweeter than a ringing doorbell. Especially when you know that on the other side of the door is some food waiting to be devoured. But what if instead of a delivery person handing you your food, there was a robot?
Just posted! Wow.

Hmmm. Does it fly like a droid or what?

Ha! I think you mean drone. What a hoot that would be, a drone delivering your pizza! As a sci-fi writer I could have all sorts of fun with that.

Feel free to have fun! The idea doesn’t fit anything I’ve got in the works. I scratched my head over the 3′ robotic oven delivering the pizza and wondered exactly how it arrived at the door … Did it drive? Was it also a drone? Molecular transport???

Obviously if someone is seriously thinking about this they’re not going to reveal their secrets just yet. Until we have driverless cars, I can’t imagine it getting there by conventional means. Molecular transport, maybe. Speaking of which, I’m about ready to post Take Two of my teleportation blog. 😀

Yup. The subject just gets better and better. Now I know where all those things I can’t find in the proverbial “safe place” really are!

Undoubtedly! LOL! Maybe that 4th dimension is in the washer or dryer.

Have you ever considered writing a story about that?

I’ll probably be exploring such places and beyond in my next novel. Not sure whether the washer and dryer will be involved, though. Perhaps I could use the missing socks premise as inspiration. Hmmmm….

Those missing socks have been a mystery for decades. I mean, how do they do such a through vanishing act?

LOL! I know! When my 6 kids were at home I had a laundry basket FULL of unmatched socks. Unbelievable.

Me, too… did you ever realize that the strays can be made into sock monkeys?

Most of my kids’ stray socks were not usable for that but I did used to make little dolls from new baby socks. Seems like another lifetime.
